About me

I have a lot of hobbies, such as scuba diving, travelling around the world, paint, listen to music, play videogames, read Sci-Fi books, hiking and mostly enjoy time spent with family and friends.

Although my career path have been focused on Biology (since I have always loved to question things), computers have always been another great passion for me, and I always wondered what it would be like to code 💻 This is why in 2021 I decided to start my coding journey with

• I started my studies on 2008 in a little portuguese town called Peniche, where I graduated in Marine Biology 🐋
• On 2011 I decided to continue my studies and went for a Master degree in Marine Biotechnology. This was when I decided to live abroad for the first time and went for an internship in Barcelona 🇪🇸
• By the end of my Master, I got an opportunity to go to France, where I did my Ph.D. in Life Sciences 🇫🇷
• After my Ph.D. I decided to go to USA for a Post-Doc in Toxicology, at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY 🇺🇸
• Today, I work in a Biotechnology company in Lisbon 🇵🇹
